Obligation to report in Germany after a positive antigen test result?

Anyone who takes a self-test that comes back positive should have it confirmed by a PCR test and, as a precaution, quarantine themselves at home until the result is available.

Positive results of self-conducted antigen tests are generally not reportable.

However, any positive test result from a test performed by trained personnel is reportable to the public health department according to the Infection Protection Act.
